Development
Lendify. Building a new face for a credit intermediary.
Lendify was founded in 2014 as a P2P lending platform. In 2023, SaveLend Group bought the Lendify brand and now also manages the approximately 17,000 active investors that were taken over in connection with the acquisition. During the end of 2023, SaveLend Group began its relaunch of Lendify as a credit intermediary of business loans. As a part of the marketing team, I was responsible for developing the new website and setting up the new CMS.
With the launch of the Lendify website, SaveLend initiated the transition from Hubspot to Statamic as its primary CMS for managing the companies websites. Working with Hubspot had increasingly become inefficient, and it was clear that we needed a more effective platform to accelerate our development process. After careful consideration, we selected Statamic for its great flexibility and ease of use, which would allow us to streamline our workflows and focus on delivering high-quality content more efficiently.
Developing with accessibility and page speed in mind
As the European Accessibility Act is soon becoming law, we recognized the importance of building our new website with accessibility at its core. To achieve this, I ensured that we used proper semantic elements throughout the site, fully testing all components using accessibility tools to guarantee they meet the required standards. Additionally, I took care to add the necessary attributes to provide screen readers with the vital information they need to deliver a seamless user experience for everyone.
In our commitment to delivering a fast-loading website, we chose to implement Statamic's Static Site Generator. This decision not only helped us achieve optimal loading times but also contributed to the overall performance and efficiency of the site, ensuring that users can access content quickly and without unnecessary delays.
